What is Samplelord ?

SampleLord is a sample player which can work as a VSTi plug-in or standalone application. It can load different sounds in different formats in the same Multi-Patch and play these in real-time just like a hardware sound module.

Main Features:

Ultra Fast Engine

- fast engine and very low CPU usage.

- 8, 16, 24, 32-bit, 64-bit sample support at any samplerate.

- supports Dimensions, Keyswitching, Cycle Ribbon, Cycle Random, Crossfading, Controller Switching, Controller's crossfading.

Dynamic Disk Streaming

- uses special Disk Streaming to load samples directly from disk, optionally even without sample preload.

Fast and Direct Access to Formats

- SampleLord can load GIG, SF2, FXP, NKI, EXB, WAV, AIFF files, plus our own Native Format and play these directly from disk.

- other formats can be imported using our Extreme Sample Converter software sold separately or in a bundle with SampleLord.

- no (re)conversion and (re)saving is done to HD during file loading, files are loaded directly into RAM memory.

VSTi Windows Plug-in and Standalone Version

- works under any WIndows host that supports VSTi plug-ins.

- also runs as a standalone application under Windows Operating systems.

16 MultiTrack Midi and 16 Stereo Audio Outputs

- 16 MIDI inputs freely configurable with custom routing to loaded instruments.

- allows to use up to 16 stereo audio outputs with full control over all multi parts and audio output routing.

Built-in HD Browser

- easy-to-use HD Browser gives you access to your sounds on any hard disk.

- the HD Browser has options to filter file types and selected formats.

- supports Drag and Drop functions between HD Browser Panel and Instrument Panel.

General MIDI integration

- with full General MIDI support.

Virtual Keyboard

- virtual keyboard panel to paly and preview loaded instruments.

Multiple instances and Low Memory usage

- all instances share the same program resources.

- each instance adds 1024 voices resulting in nearly unlimited polyphony.

Sound Edit

- allows quick editing and control of sound parameters in real-time: filter, envelopes, lfo, pitch, tune, pitch-bend even x-fade for the looped samples.

Save, Load, Archive

- Save, Load options for Instruments and Multi-Patches. Archive option allows you to backup a Multi-Patch with all its instrument presets and used samples.

- all parameters can be saved to a custom *.spf project file. When using the VSTi version of SampleLord all parameters are saved (FXP) to the current host project. Additionally SampleLord can create a backup copy of the last used project.
